Working from home is sometimes part of a grand scheme while commuting to work every day. You think to yourself – if only I could roll out of bed and work! The Oatmeal has a great post on why working at home is both awesome and horrible.
Then one day you finally get to the point where you can work from home and think – this is great! Now I have the freedom to go out and work out of my home!
Anyway, this is where your third places come in. We’re a fan of them. They keep you sane when you need to work from home. Even though there’s a wave of growing resentment towards people that show up to a coffee shop or restaurant to park themselves and work, you have to admit that you like getting out of the house.
So we’re going to document some of the places we hang out in to work. Maybe show you some of the people we meet along the way. Because no man is an island, you can’t work in a bubble, and only the extremely motivated can work up the energy to make their own espresso-based drinks at home.
